Truth: What's the pettiest reason you've ever ended a friendship or relationship?
A game of Truth or Dare works best when everyone wants to join in. Try the cards above together, and agree that anyone can pass. You do not need drinks, points or a punishment for saying no.
Agree on the limits first
Before you start, decide what is off the table. Keep other people's private messages, photos and personal information out of the game. Leave anyone who is not playing out of it too.
A dare should be something the person wants to do. If someone hesitates, move on. The game should stay fun for the person taking the turn as well as everyone watching.
Give everyone a turn
Read a card, let the person answer or choose to pass, then move around the group. Avoid turning one answer into a cross-examination. A funny story does not need to become a confession.
With a mixed group, start with lighter topics. People who know each other well may be comfortable with different things, so do not let the loudest friends set the rules for everyone.
Switch games when it suits the group
Truth or Dare is part of the collection. If you would rather hear stories without dares, try Never Have I Ever. You can also slow things down with Friendship cards.
